Overview

SP Tech commits to assure that The tantalum, tin, tungsten and/or gold in the products does not directly or indirectly finance or benefit armed groups that are perpetrators of serious human rights abuses in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) or any adjoining countries.

Countries that adjoin the DRC are Angola, Burundi, Central African Republic, the Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia.

In accordance with OECD guidance and EICC standard, SP Tech agrees to exercise due diligence on the source and chain of custody of these minerals and make due diligence measures.

In parallel, SP Tech also requests that supplier agrees to report the exercise of due diligence in accordance with OECD guidance using a specific reporting template or other allowable reporting option and to maintain reasonable documentary evidence to support the information reported. Supplier must not use the affected minerals in any goods provided to SP Tech.
